Sustainability Statement

At TGD™ we deliver projects with purpose, creating enduring value for people and our planet.

We strive to ensure our operations and projects work within planetary boundaries and contribute to thriving and just societies and economies.

OUR SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVES

We strive to ensure our operations and projects work within planetary boundaries and are guided in our approach to sustainability by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and 21st century Doughnut Economics.

Policies and Initiatives

TGD’s team comprises members with a long experience working together to deliver outcomes with positive environmental, social and governance impact. TGD’s Board is currently reviewing a complete Sustainability Statement, which will outline our commitments and initiatives, and this will be available in Q1, 2023. In the meantime, here are our current programs:

Screen for and Amplify Impact

We screen client projects against a rigorous positive and negative vetting process, looking for projects with purpose and supporting customers to achieve and amplify impact.

Anti-Bribery and Corruption

Bribery and Corruption undermines legitimate business activities, distorts competition and exposes TGD and its employees to significant risks. View our policy here.

Modern Slavery

We are committed to zero-tolerance on modern slavery. You can read our modern slavery policy here.

Diversity and Inclusion

TGD™ is a proudly diverse and inclusive organisation and an ally of LGBTIQ+ community and the movement toward equality. We embed D&I approaches throughout our hiring, work practices, culture and solution design for customer projects.

Healthy, Happy Employees

We support a healthy work-life balance that celebrates and empowers our team with flexible work and gender equal pay.

National Reconciliation

TGD™ aims to be an active ally of and advocate for First Nations people across Australia and is developing our National Reconciliation Action Plan.

Managing Project Impacts

TGD™ ensures each project aligns with and can act as a case study for sustainable business. In collaboration with our clients, we work to:

  • Reduce our carbon footprint through our engagement, using virtual meetings wherever possible to avoid travel and transportation emissions

  • Offset our project carbon emissions using quality providers such as myclimate.org, goneutral.com.au and onetreeplanted.com

  • Design for inclusion, agency and fairness by default, engaging local translators and cultural liaisons to improve our cultural competencies, and project engagement and outcomes

Our sustainability commitment is more than a policy, but policies are important to provide a framework for TGD to integrate sustainable practices into its operations. You can access our related policies here.
